Home School Mondays at the Capitol

The Georgia Capitol Museum is pleased to present HOME SCHOOL MONDAYS at the Capitol: tours designed with home schooled students in mind.

Tours will leave the West Entrance Tour Desk at 2:00 and 3:00 every Monday afternoon starting on April 5th through May 24th, 2010. Take a general tour of the historic Capitol building and museum focusing on Georgia’s government or request a special subject tour about the Capitol’s architecture or civil rights in Georgia; explore the Capitol Museum through the Fun with Miss Freedom program; take a self-guided tour of the Capitol grounds. Your students will learn how Georgia’s government works and the history of our state—and they’ll have fun doing it!

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Call 404-463-4536. Please request special-subject tours at the time of registration. All tours are limited to 30 participants (students and adults). No tours on official State Holidays. To find out more about the Capitol visit www.sos.georgia.gov.
