Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Accountancy at its May 11 Meeting
Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Accountancy met on Monday, May 11, 2009.
The Board voted to post the following rules:
- 20-3-.08, Application for CPA Certificate: The purpose of this amendment is to bring the rule into compliance with changes to O.C.G.A. 43-3-6 and includes detailed descriptions of acceptable and unacceptable experience.
- 20-8-.02, Firms not required to be registered: Details which firms are not required to register.
The Georgia State Board of Accountancy will hold its next meeting Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards in Macon.
