Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Accountancy at its January 26 Meeting

Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Accountancy met on Wednesday, January 26, 2011.

The Board approved 142 applications for certificates as certified public accountants.

The Board approved eight applications for accounting firms.

The Board voted to accept the following consent order:

  • Gregory Biggs, Atlanta: $3,000 fine for practicing with an expired license

The Georgia State Board of Accountancy will hold its next meeting Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
