Actions Taken by the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology at its February 16 Meeting
Macon, Ga.—The Georgia State Board of Cosmetology met Monday, February 16, 2009.
The Board voted to uphold citations against the following establishments:
- A Cut Above, Hawkinsville
- A Cut Above Salon, Inc, Eatonton
- A New Hope Salon, Warner Robins
- Alexis II, Centerville
- American Nails & Skin, Helena
- Attitudes Unlimited Beauty Shop, Perry
- Balance Salon, Marietta
- Moda Salon Spa, Marietta
- The Diva’s Domain, Smyrna
The Board voted to uphold the citations and reduce the fines against the following establishments:
- Kermedick D. Adside, Gordon
- All About Hair, Eatonton
The Board voted to dismiss the citations against the following establishments:
- All Styles Beauty Salon, Sandersville
- Michael Agnew Salon, Macon
The Board voted to let stand the previous decision to uphold the citation against the following establishment:
The Board voted to continue the cases against the following establishments:
- Anika 1-2-3, Gray
- Anointed Hair Gallery, Wren
The Board voted to refer the following establishment to the Attorney General for license revocation:
- Shelena’s Hair Design, Dallas
The Board voted to suspend the licenses of the following individuals pursuant to a request from the Georgia Higher Education Assistance Corporation for nonpayment of student loan:
- Keisha L. Bloodworth, Macon
- Bruce A. Conner, Reidsville
The Georgia State Board of Cosmetology will hold its next meeting Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division office in Macon.
