Actions Taken by the Georgia Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies at its July 31 Meeting
Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies held its bi-monthly meeting on Thursday, July 31, 2008.
The Board accepted the following Voluntary Cease and Desist Orders for unlicensed practice:
Jeffery Eugene Turner, Hampton
Paul Redigo Rankin III, Sandy Springs
Lance Lenahan, Lathem
John W. Pottage, Roswell
Craig Miniex, Atlanta
William C. Evans, Columbus
Airborne Security Services, Columbus
Brenda Clarke a.k.a. Blue Shield Protective Services, Decatur
Joshua Davis Reed, Marietta
The Board accepted a Consent Order from the following licensee:
Randolph McFadden, Stone Mountain: Failure to submit a report detailing a minimum of 24 hours of classroom instruction for security guards. The Consent Order includes a fine of $500 and places the licensee on probation for 12 months.
The Board accepted a Final Decision Order for the following:
Tarheel Specialties Inc., Linden, NC: The Final Decision Order revokes the establishment’s license for failure to renew a canceled bond or liability insurance policy, or failure to supply the required financial affidavit.
The Board accepted a Consent Agreement for Licensure for the following:
Savannah Investigative & Security Consults, Inc. and Frank Rimsek, Rincon: The Consent Agreement for Licensure includes a fine of $500 and places the establishment and individual’s licenses on probation for 12 months for receiving a cease and desist order from the Board prior to licensure.
Ergonomic Security Corporation and Christopher Bridges, Lithonia: The Consent Agreement for Licensure places the license on probation for 24 months. The agreement also requires the licensee to provide proof of completion of a minimum of 24 hours instruction from board certified instructors, as well as the training requirements as set forth in Rule 509-3-.10.
The Board accepted a Second Consent Agreement Granting Employee Registration for the following:
Hector Bonilla Echegoyen, Roswell: The Second Consent Agreement Granting Employee Registration places the licensee on probation for 42 months. This consent order replaces the previous order.
The Board accepted an Amendment to Consent Agreement for the following:
Top Flight Investigative Services, LLC and Cornealuous Tillman, Savannah: The Amendment to Consent Agreement is amended to delete any reference to a concealed weapon permit.
The Georgia Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies will hold its next meeting Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. at the Professional Licensing Boards Division in Macon.
